YOU are never too young to volunteer, according to Warnbro High School student Bella Deale.
At 16-years-old, Bella is an advocate for volunteering in the disability sector.
Bella combines a school-based traineeship at Warnbro High School with volunteer work at Activ Rockingham and Activ Beaconsfield each week.
She is completing a Certificate III in Individual Support this year and will undertake a Business Administration (medical) course next year.
Bella’s goal is to work in the disability sector.
“I find it heartwarming to volunteer with Activ,” Bella said.
“I get a lot of satisfaction from helping customers reach their goals.
“The people I work with don’t let their disability stop them from getting on with life.”
Assistant employee coordinator Carolyn Craggs said Bella related well to everyone and customers loved spending time with her.
