A MAN who injured a police officer with his car has been fined $1900.
Christopher William Shortland pleaded guilty to assaulting a public officer, failing to stop for police and dangerous driving at Rockingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
The prosecutor said Shortland was driving on a street in Warnbro when he approached police attending an unrelated car accident at 7.20pm on January 5.

The prosecutor said a family at the scene also had to jump out of the way of Shortland’s car.
Magistrate Vivian Edwards fined him $100 for the fail to stop, $800 and six months disqualification for dangerous driving and $1000 for assaulting a public officer.
