Warnbro: Police call for help with crash involving car and pedestrian

TRAFFIC Enforcement Group officers have put out a call for information about a crash in Warnbro last night that left a man walking his dog with serious injuries.

The 45-year-old man was crossing Curries Street near the intersection of Swallowtail Parade at 7.45pm when he was hit by a blue Toyota Corolla travelling south on Curries Street.

He received serious injuries as part of the crash and was taken to hospital by St John Ambulance paramedics.

The 36-year-old driver of the Toyota Corolla did not stop at the scene, however he contacted police later and is now helping them with their inquiries.

Police have asked for anyone who witnessed the crash or who saw the car beforehand to contact them via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
