A WARNBRO man has come forward to claim a whopping $1.05 million Division One Lotto prize drawn three months ago.
The winning ticket was sold at Waikiki Village Newsagency for a draw on Saturday January 17.
The man said he was unaware he was an instant millionaire as he was working away and had not checked his tickets.
“When I got back and realised I had all the winning numbers, I thought this is a dream, it can’t be real,” he said.
“I burst out to everyone I’m a millionaire, then we were all crying and hugging and everyone was so happy for us.
The man said he was now given the responsibility of buying the offices weekly syndicate and was given the nickname lucky Buddha.
Lotterywest put a call out for the owner of a $1.015 million ticket sold in April last year at Osborne Park Newsagency, that has still not been claimed.
