Wellard designer preparing for Made on the Left Christmas Markets

WELLARD designer Hanae Mayer is preparing for the Made on the Left Christmas Markets.

The talented designer will be showcasing her original artwork and designs including watercolour, lino prints, riso prints, handmade cards and hand-painted brooches.

Mayer has been running her stall Hanae Mayer of Sponthanaeity for three years.

“I enjoy the market environment because people get to see you make the pieces and you can talk to people face to face,” she said.

“It’s more personal and I get to explain the different mediums I use.”

Wellard artist Jo Price of Jo Price Designs will also be selling her handmade art glass cheese platters and bowls and metal sculptures of the female torso.

Orelia resident Kareena Preston of Kri:ei’tiviti will display all-natural cold process soap, lip balms, bath bombs and bath soaks.
