Wellard Long Table Dinner a hit

Victoria RificiWeekend Kwinana Courier

THE Village at Wellard attracted a crowd of 66 locals last Thursday for the suburb’s first alfresco Long Table Dinner.

A crowd of diners and hungry locals, including Kwinana Mayor Carol Adams, enjoyed a spring evening seated at a long table, which ran right down The Strand.

Diners enjoyed a feast of treats from Wellard Square’s great range of eateries, including meatballs from Subway Wellard, pizza from Kwinana Pizza, rice and noodles from My Noodles Rules, fish and chips from Oceans British Chip shop, and chicken momos, and goat curry and rice from Bliss Momos.

The dinner was topped off with ice cream sandwiches from Subway Wellard and mud cake from Bake My Day.

Future Long Table Dinners are being planned for The Village at Wellard with the goal to increase numbers and fill The Strand.
