Where There’s a Will: Rockingham cast enjoying preparations for play

THE cast of Rockingham Theatre’s Where There’s a Will is well into rehearsal and in between bursts of laughter have already learnt most of their lines.

Derek (Peter Shaw) is having an affair with his wife’s sister Carol (Cherry Allen) and his wife, Linda (Helen Brown) has just found out, and is letting Derek know what she thinks, in no uncertain terms.

What Linda isn’t telling her husband is that she is having a torrid love affair as well……..with Derek’s younger brother, Colin (Peter Scarrott).

The row between Linda and Derek gets more and more vicious, eventually reaching the stage where both protagonists would happily murder each other.

When their lucrative wills and generous life insurance policies are added to the fight, the game is on, but with each attempt to finish the war, somebody else becomes a victim, and the first problem is getting rid of the body of the vicar (Terry Ritter) and his bicycle.

Where There’s a Will is directed by David Heckingbottom.
