WOOLWORTHS at Singleton Village opens tomorrow .

The new shopping centre is on the corner of Mandurah Road and Redwood Avenue, opposite Coles Express.

The new Woolworths Singleton features access to the new Pick Up service, an in-store bakery (which will feature a stone baked artisan bread range), a fruit and vegetable department, and a meat, deli and seafood department.

The new store has also brought significant employment opportunities to the local area, with 104 team members joining the Singleton store.

Opening just in time for the Christmas season, local customers can also pick from traditional Christmas favourites, to some exciting new lines including fruit mince pies, a festive ‘gold’ range of Christmas puddings, pavlovas, Christmas meats and so much more.

Woolworths Singleton store manager Suzette Ford said the store was designed with the customer at heart, following a great deal of time spent understanding what local shoppers are looking for.

“With 100 per cent of our fresh meat and 96 per cent of fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from Australia, the store has been designed to also showcase the wonderful seasonality of our produce and provide further food inspiration for our customers,” she said.

To celebrate the opening, a $1000 gift card will be presented to Singleton Sharks Little Athletics to assist with future fundraising and school events, during the opening ceremony.

Throughout launch day, the store will have a selection of sampling stations and giveaways, including free coffee for customers from 8am to noon.

Continuing store opening celebrations over the weekend, the centre will have free face painting and kids entertainment from 9am to 1pm on Saturday, December 2.

Woolworths Singleton opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 9pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm, Sunday 11am to 5pm.

Christmas hours will come into effect from Tuesday, December 5.
