The Tuart Rise Primary School student recently returned from the Australian Trans Tasman Test Team Trials BMX tournament, where he swept all aside to win all his races and earn selection in the Australian team.

Jordan was one of only four in his age group selected to represent his country, and has an eye on competing at the World BMX Titles in Colombia in May.

Dad Jamie said Jordan was now in training for the Australian BMX Titles at the end of next month, where a good performance would enhance his chances of going to Colombia.

Jordan will also be travelling to Sydney three times between now and June for specialised training, while keeping up his regular training regime with coach Jade McPherson, which includes two track sessions, fitness training and two races.

“His older brother is also in the WA State Development Team, so they’re good training partners who push one another,” he said.
