Last Thursday, a workshop teaching residents how to make nesting boxes for native wildlife was held at the Men’s Shed in Medina.

The event also featured a discussion on nest box installation and development of a monitoring plan, nest box maintenance as well as a climbing demonstration.

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 25, experts from Birdlife Australia will give a presentation at Thomas Oval Pavilion, on the bush birds of the Kwinana region, followed by a demonstration of spotting techniques, followed by a wander through the bush.

Come along to find out about the local birdlife.

Registrations are open from 8.45am for a 9am start.

Participants should bring water, wear enclosed shoes and appropriate clothing for a walk through the bush.
