The Celebration Homes new homes consultant not only lives in the Satterley Property Group community with his wife Bree but sells house designs there too.

Mr Rose, who has sold more than 60 designs in the estate in more than two years, said they loved living in Honeywood.

“Not only because I get to walk to work but because of the feeling you get when you drive around the estate. It has a great sense of community,” he said.

“Other estates claim to have 40 per cent parkland and open space like Honeywood, however very few are presented in the same way as Honeywood with barbeque areas, playgrounds and bush tracks.”

The Roses originally intended the 300sq m block to be an investment property because it represented “great value for money.”

“With the new Aubin Grove Train Station opening next year, Cockburn Gateway and Aubin Grove Medical Centre down the road and a number of great schools close by, we knew it was a great area to invest,” Mr Rose said.

“But when showing my wife around Honeywood, she fell in love with the area just as much as I did and we decided it was somewhere we wanted to call home.”

“We knew we were making the right decision to buy in Honeywood as we were building in a Satterley estate.”

“We built a square lot design on a 15m x 20m block, a block design Satterley were really pioneers of, allowing you to build a home on a smaller lot and still have a wide frontage.”

Satterley chief executive Nigel Satterley said Honeywood buyers enjoyed a relaxed lifestyle with easy access to the CBD and Fremantle just 25 minutes away.

“Life at Honeywood just keeps getting better, with a primary school opening in 2018 and childcare facility opening next year within the estate,” he said.

“The school will be in close proximity to the future Honeywood district playing fields, making the community the perfect place for families.”

Honeywood land from 250-690sq m starts at $229,000.
