RAINE & Horne Rockingham Beach has triumphed at the network’s WA awards, being named the top office for auction listings and taking home property management accolades.

The event was held at Crown Perth last Saturday night and celebrated the annual awards and Raine & Horne’s 135th anniversary.

Rockingham Beach director Paul Curran said he was extremely happy with his team’s efforts.

“I am proud as punch,” he said.

“This is the first time we’ve won these awards.

“In the case of auctions, it really shows the trend away from advertising just a single for-sale price.

“When it comes to property management, it’s about hard work, doing the right thing and caring about people. Over time that shows through and people appreciate being treated in the right way, both tenants and landlords.”

Mr Curran said the local rental market had begun to recover, with the median rent just starting to increase.

“This all points to the start of a recovery and I believe that will be sustained for the rest of the year and into next year,’’ he said.

“It is also a great time to lock in a fixed rate if you are an investor.

“Affordable prices and affordable rates means great opportunities.”
