Baldivis boy makes the U12 State cricket team

TRANBY College student Liam Betley will play for the School Sport WA Cricket Team in Bunbury from December 12 to 19.

The Baldivis boy has been playing cricket since he was five years old.

Liam loves cricket. He finds it fun and he enjoys the game.

The appeal for Liam is batting and bowling is partly individual, but cricket overall is a team sport.

Liam’s dream is to become an Australian cricketer so making the U12 State team is a good stepping stone.

He plays District Cricket for Fremantle and will try out for the U15s State team.
