Brooke has been involved in a range of sports from a young age, which has landed her a nomination in this year’s Junior HBF Sports Hero Competition.

The Living Water’s Lutheran College Year student plays netball for the Warnbro Netball Club and while training for the sport has kept up her commitments to the Secret Harbour Surf Life Saving Club.

She has competed for the past four years and has won several medals in national and state level competitions.

To add to her achievements, Brooke has won medals for runner-up champion girl for her school’s cross-country and runner-up fairest and best in her netball team.

Brooke’s mother Tracy said she was extremely proud of her daughter.

‘She loves teaching and showing the younger nipper groups how to do things, such as correct flag technique or how to paddle a board correctly,’ she said.

‘She has a very bright future ahead of her with the attitude she has.’

Brooke recently received her Surf Rescue Certificate.
