Club recognised for being Good Sports

The award celebrates the club for promoting the values of the Australian Drug Foundation’s Good Sports program and leading the way for other clubs across the State. The program works with clubs to help them provide safe and healthy environments through the responsible management of alcohol.

More than 6000 clubs are involved with the program around Australia.

‘As the Good Sports Club of the Year for WA, Secret Harbour Surf Life Saving Club is showing the wider community that they place the utmost importance on the health and wellbeing of their players, members and spectators,’ Good Sports WA state manager Greg Williams said.

Club sponsorship director Carolyn Wilson said the club was thrilled to be recognised.

‘The Secret Harbour Surf Life Saving Club is proud of maintaining a high standard of life saving services and commitment. We will continue to provide a family oriented club, with a holistic focus on members’ needs, wants and development,’ she said.
