KWINANA second grade lost by one run against Kelmscott in its two-day clash after losing its last seven wickets for 52 runs.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Kwinana lost an opener early but Luke George (75) and Dwain Fernandez (47) scored 104 to give Kwinana the ascendency with Dan Bell scoring 36.

But after the middle and late order batting collapse, the side finished its innings with 228.

Kelmscott put together multiple partnerships during its run chase with Jaden McNamara picking up 4-36 in the losing effort.
