The talented teenager has been playing darts since he was 12 years old.

His whole family is involved in darts.

Tyler is following in his grandmother Robyn McCoy’s footsteps because she was also a darts national champion.

In the lead-up to the nationals Tyler practiced two-to-three hours a day and played competitively on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

This year Tyler will be attending Rockingham Tafe.
