Kewell set to play Glory in Mandurah

In a coup for the region, the Red and White will play Glory on Saturday, September 14, at Peelwood Reserve in the coastal city as part of a five-day pre-|season tour of WA.

Kewell (34) signed with Melbourne in June and could take to the field in Mandurah for one of his first appearances for the club.

During his illustrious career, he played for Leeds United, Liverpool and Galatasary.

Kewell played 58 times for Australia scoring 17 goals, including a famous equaliser against Croatia to take Australia into the final 16 at the World Cup in Germany in 2006.

The two teams will also face off in Inglewood on Tuesday September 10.
