THREE teams from the White Knights Baldivis Cricket Club competed in grand finals at venues across the Peel region last weekend.
The men’s D-grade team defeated Pinjarra by 71 runs and the men’s E-grade team defeated Mandurah by 51 runs.
The men’s F-grade side battled it out with South Mandurah but lost.
Club president Leigh McIntosh said he was incredibly proud of all the players for the way they had conducted themselves this season.
“This is a great club,” he said.
“It’s a very family centred environment, where people matter both – on the field and off.”
McIntosh said the club would aim to provide the best possible equipment, facilities and social experiences possible for its members.
“We have a large membership base with more than 100 senior players and 150 juniors aged between 5 and 17, as well as a strong community presence and we are very grateful for the support we receive from sponsors like Peet’s Greenlea Baldivis estate,” he said.
“It’s been a fantastic season, and we’re obviously hoping to finish it off with some new silverware for the cabinet.”
