NRL WA: Rockingham score massive win

ROCKINGHAM Coastal Sharks claimed its first win of 2016, routing competition new boys South West Warriors 102-10 in a dominant display.

Brandon Timlin crossed four times for the Sharks with Curtis Dansey-Smaller claiming three tries while Connor Husdon, Hayden Dangen-Toby, Tevita Pomale and David Tuliloa all grabbed a brace.

Reece Potter, Darrin Henry, Matt Pora and Joseph Faliu each scored a try in their side’s big 92-point win.

Dansey-Smaller’s hat trick was even more impressive as it came on debut for the 17-year-old.

The former Sharks junior is one of many club products pushing for a berth in the first grade side.

Timlin and Pora featured in the best alongside Josh Neal.

It was a similar story in reserves with Rockingham storming to a 46-0 victory.

Ezra Taomia and Jayden Toelupe grabbed two tries each while Michael Apap, Julian Wilson-Wyllie, Keidyn Senioli, Matt Taylor and Jontrai Meads-Paora all scored a try each.

Karla Trego and Damien Worth were amongst the best.

Next week both teams will have a bye as the annual Anzac Perth Kiwi versus Perth fixtures takes centre stage at Dorrien Gardens on Saturday.
