Peel pair named in All Star squad

Opening batsman Jayden DeRosa was named alongside wicketkeeper and captain Josh Petersen in the XI.

DeRosa, who hails from Waroona, hit 297 runs with an average of 49.50 during Country Week proceedings while Halls Head’s Petersen skippered the Peel A grade team to grand final glory.

He claimed nine catches as ‘keeper as well as a stumping and run out over the competition.
