Rockingham BMX Club riders win silver at nationals

ROCKINGHAM BMX Club riders Jordan Callum, Tj Rikihana-Gray and Declan McGhee have brought home silverware from the 2019 BMXA Bad Boy National Championships in Shepparton, Victoria.

Callum, the reigning 20-inch world champion for his age, led the way, taking out the 15 years boys 20-inch and cruiser double.

Callum will now set his sights on defending the world title he won last year in Baku, Azerbaijan, while also attempting to go one better on his second place in the cruiser category.

This year’s global showpiece will be in Zolder, Belgium, in July.

Tj Rikihana-Gray took the silver medal in the 10 years boy’s 20-in race and Declan McGhee was third in the 11 ars boy’s 20-in and fourth in the 11-12 cruiser race.
