THE Rockingham Outrigger Canoe Club was a runner up in the WA Good Sports Club of the Year awards.
The club was recognised for a commitment to building a stronger, healthier and more family friendly club environment.
Bluff Point Strathalbyn Cricket Club was named the National Good Sports Club of the Year.
Federal Sports Minister Bridget McKenzie said the clubs were preventing and minimising alcohol and other drug-related harm.
