The Club is inviting members of the public to participate in the all ages fundraiser, which will contribute to the Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign.

Participants will consecutively swim laps of the pool between 11.30am and 12.30pm, complete with an allocated lane for junior swimmers who may require parental assistance.

Following the Swimarathon, there will be a free sausage sizzle for participants and other members of the public.

The cost of participating in the event will be $10 for adults, and $5 for children aged 16 years and under.

Registration will commence at 11am.

This will be the fourth year that the Rotary Club of Kwinana has held the Swimarathon.

A Rotary Club of Kwinana spokeswoman said the event wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of local residents and businesses.

For more information and for information on how to donate, head to the Rotary Club of Kwinana Inc. Facebook page.

Donations are tax-deductible, with all funds going directly to End Polio Now.
