ROCKINGHAM Flames came away from round 8 of the State Basketball League winless at the hands of both the Perth Redbacks and Goldfields Giants.
The weekend for the Flames in the SBL began on Friday night at Belmont Oasis.
The women put up a good fight despite being well short of full strength, but ultimately fell to the Redbacks 85-74.

The Flames could not keep pace with the third-placed team though with Perth ending up 90-73 victors.
It is another double-header this weekend for the Flames starting on Friday night against the East Perth Eagles at Mike Barnett Sports Complex.
Then on Saturday night, Rockingham plays Mandurah in the official opening of the redeveloped Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre.
