The men claimed a 101-81 victory to consolidate third and keep in touch with championship rivals Joondalup and Cockburn, while the women drew level on points with league leaders Willetton with a 71-49 win, but remain third.

Cooper Land starred for the men with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Chudier Pal (20 points and 12 rebounds), Ryan Godfrey and Taylor Land (both 15 points and 5 rebounds) were solid.

A dominant first half had the men well placed, leading 52-30 at half-time before Perry Lakes showed a little life in the third, before fading again in the final term.

Meanwhile, the women had it all their own way with the Hawks, before relaxing in the final term in the 22-point win.

Sami Whitcomb did not quite hit the heights of last week’s 55-point rout, but was still among the best for the Flames with 26 points and five rebounds.

Ashlee Sidebottom (15 points and 3 rebounds) and Jacinta Bourne (13 points and 8 rebounds) were also impressive.

On Friday, Rockingham host Perth Redbacks at Mike Barnett, with tip-off scheduled for 6.30pm for the women and 8.30pm for the men.

The Redbacks are currently seventh in the men’s league and fifth in the women’s league.
