Shannon Gardiner has made the Australia Muay Thai team

BERTRAM athlete Shannon Gardiner has fought her way into the Australia Muay Thai team.

The Muay Thai enthusiast made the team after she represented WA at the nationals on the Gold Coast in January.

Shannon has had 19 fights, 12 wins, six losses and a draw with three knockouts.

It will be the third time she has represented Australia. In 2017 Shannon won gold and in 2016 she won bronze.

She has been training Muay Thai since she was seven years old.
