SOUTH Coast Baptist College primary girls football team won the the Tanya Oxtoby State Championship Cup at the Aubin Grove Community Oval.
The girls from years 4 to 6 competed against the likes of Coolbellup, Oberthur, Connolly, Phoenix, Parkwood and Coogee.
The team progressed through the state quarter- finals and semi-finals to the state grand final against Connolly.
The final was a hard-fought match, with the girls winning the state championship for the first time in the 13 years of the competition. The WA Primary School State Finals were supported by Football West.
