THE Stand Up Surf Shop King of the Cut will feature a new event this year, the Estuary Run.

The Estuary Run will involve a 9km paddle from Dawesville Cut to central Mandurah down the Estuary.

The run will be ideal for novice paddlers to gain experience while being chaperoned along the course by professional paddlers.

The estuary event will finish with a sundowner and dinner in Mandurah as a prelude to the main event.

King of the Cut is Australia’s richest stand up paddle event with equal prize money for men and women.

The event features 160 international, interstate and local competitors in a 24km race from the Daweville Cut to Secret Harbour.
