Oscar Watts, who started riding three years ago, has only been competing for a year and a half but has already been to Queensland in May to compete in the 2013 BMX National Championships and was invited by BMX Australia to represent Australia at the 2013 world championships in July.
His goal for the world championships was to finish in the top 50, which he achieved.
Oscar ” a member of Bull Creek organisation Southside BMX ” said he was confident he had a chance at taking out the State titles, and is due to compete in Rockingham for the last round of the BMX Super Series on September 8.
‘He just loves being on the bike,’ mum Falon Watts said.
Oscar said he hoped he could one day compete in an event through the American Bicycle Association.
