THE Secret Harbour Boardriders held their seventh competition of 2015 last weekend, with Murray Jacobs, Craig Hopkins and Steve Barton the big winners.

In one-metre waves, which provided a good challenge for the club’s younger members, Jacobs and Hopkins shone through to win the shortboard competition, while Barton took out the longboard.

Jacobs also won the men’s open division, with Dalron Lang, Cam McColl and Keith Bowen taking the minor placings.

Lang took out the seniors competition from Barton, while Hopkins claimed the over-45s comp.

In the grom categories, Bella Rutter took out the girls and Campbell Forrest the boys, while April McPherson won the junior girls and Maiko McPherson the junior boys. The pair also took out their respective cadet categories.
