WEST Perth celebrated the 120th anniversary of its 1897 premiership at a pre-match lunch at Arena Joondalup on Saturday.

The celebrations continued, with the Falcons going on to beat the Darren Harris-coached Claremont.

It was not the return to Joondalup the Falcons favourite – a premiership player and coach with the red and blues – would have wanted.
