Harcourts inducts Joondalup team into Hall of Fame

JOONDALUP agency Harcourts Alliance has been recognised with the highest accolade in the group’s network, with managing director Ben Bernacki and marketing and operations manager Lisa Bernacki inducted into the Harcourts Hall of Fame.

“To be awarded a place in the Hall of Fame among the very people who inspire us in business and as humans is truly an honour and a privilege,” Mrs Bernacki said.

“It really brings home that we are succeeding in how we want to be seen in our own business.”

Harcourts described the couple as a professional duo who expertly strike a balance between family and business, with their leadership serving as an example to everyone.

“Lisa and Ben are outstanding individuals and brilliant examples of the qualities that we hold dear throughout the Harcourts family,” said Harcourts Group Australia chief executive Marcus Williams.

“They are people of purpose and conviction in both their personal and professional lives, and they lead by shining example.

“They bring qualities to not only their team, with whom they share a strong bond, but also to the community.”

Mr and Mrs Bernacki began their careers in real estate separately in the late 1990s, before finding their way to each other.

Mr Bernacki started out in sales while Mrs Bernacki was a receptionist and personal assistant in the Roy Weston Group, which became the Harcourts Group in WA in 2004.

In 2007, the business went through some ownership changes and it was at this point that Mr and Mrs Bernacki became the major financial shareholders, with Mr Bernacki taking up the role of managing director.

“We are grateful for the many congratulatory messages received and to also receive them from our peers and competitors in the wider real estate community is exciting,” Mrs Bernacki said.

“Professionally, for us, we look forward to making more of these connections and bringing an awareness of what we can offer.

“We have had our challenges along the way but always fall back on those principals.

“We have the support of an incredible team that drive us to want to be better for them, our clients and their families.”

The awards wrapped up the Harcourts Australia annual conference held May 28-30 at The Star Casino in the Gold Coast.
