THE team at Bib & Tucker is offering complimentary babycinos and muffins for kids who bring in a bucket of beach litter over the holidays, as well as free coffee for their parents.

The aim of the initiative is to encourage beachgoers to be waste conscious by rewarding them for keeping the beach clean.

“Having seen the sheer amount of waste that can be found along beaches everywhere, I believe parents, including myself, need to make sure our children are being raised to understand that we need to do better, starting today,” restaurant co-owner Eamon Sullivan said.

The North Fremantle eatery already does its bit to save the environment.

“Bib & Tucker uses eco straws made from bamboo and compostable Campos Coffee cups and lids,” Mr Sullivan said.

Bathrooms use recyclable water from the hand basins and executive chef Scott Bridger composts vegetable scraps from the kitchen.

Collect a Bib Bucket from Bib & Tucker and return a full bucket of rubbish to receive a free babycino or hot chocolate and a muffin for the kids and a free regular coffee for parents until October 7.
