PUBLIC relations and marketing consultant Emma Scanlan, a mother of three, has found the perfect work space and wants to share it with other like-minded people.
The Cottesloe resident has recently launched The Bureau, a six-desk co-working space in the heart of Napoleon Street.
Ms Scanlan said after the birth of her third child, she struggled to find a work space in the western suburbs that suited her needs as a professional and a mother.

“Having been a frequent user of co-working spaces while living in Sydney, when the lease came up on the current site of The Bureau, gut instincts told me I had to have it.”
Ms Scanlan created the co-working business around the size of the space with an aim to support locals who may have experienced the same dilemmas she did.
She said it was a challenge to maintain a professional and flexible career and it was not always possible to work from home.
The Bureau, which opened last month, has already welcomed a membership base of predominantly women, including stylists, accountants, lawyers and mortgage brokers.
Singapore-based interior designer Hong Henwood created the space that includes premium leather chairs, a printer/scanner/copier, document shredder, tea and coffee, filtered water, Sonos music sharing, USB charging facilities, plush seating area and stationery.
There is also a free app that enables each member to book and manage their own desks.
