Co-owner Sheldon Hendry hosted a competition on Pure Bar’s Facebook page, with the 15 most ‘liked’ entrants winning an opportunity to create their own cocktail for the new menu, which is part of the five-year-old Hay Street bar’s relaunch.
Fellow owner Michael Cutler, of Floreat, said most of the changes were cosmetic and they had introduced chef Simon Barnabas, who has worked at Duende and Andaluz, to the team.
A new food menu will be launched in about three weeks.
Mr Cutler was the second small bar licensee in Perth in 2008 and said the concept had been popular, especially in the city, Leederville and Mt Lawley.

Pure Bar will launch its new cocktail list on Thursday, October 3, from 6pm.
