Cottesloe resident Joanna Millard’s yoga, Pilates and power plate facility will celebrate its 3rd anniversary this month after launching on May 30, 2011.

Manager Renee Hamersley, of Claremont, said Pure Moves started with yoga, Pilates, reformer Pilates and power plate classes and had introduced t-rex and xtend barre ” a combination of dance and Pilates ” sessions over the past three years.

‘We have good instructors, facilities and people like to come here,’ Ms Hamersley said.

‘We have a really nice feel and all the members know each other.’

Katrina Nicol, an original member, said she had never tried Pilates but wanted a change from the gym.

‘I feel fantastic and my body is fit and strong,’ Ms Nicol said.

The Mosman Park resident said she did xtend barre and reformer Pilates classes at Pure Moves.

Birthday celebrations will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7, with extra classes (Friday: 7am xtend barre, 8.30am reformer, 11.30am mat. Saturday: 8am reformer, 11.30am xtende barre, 11.30am reformer).
