Glamour Nail Bar launches own nail polish range

BE prepared for bright alluring nail colours this hot season, including twists on the French manicure using vivid tones instead of whites.

The owners of Perth’s Glamour Nail Bar have launched their own gel polish range of beautiful summer brights with fun names like Lime Cordial and Coral Kisses.

The range is part of the new Clawlicious line of spa products, including luxury nail lacquer, cuticle oils, handmade spa products such as body scrubs, and tools.

The collection is cruelty and toxin free, and vegan friendly.

“We believe we are one of a kind in the nail world as we choose kindness over easy profit, a reduced carbon footprint over single use plastic and a refill station in each salon and online for spa products,” nail bar and Clawlicious co-owner Christina Parry, of Scarborough, said.

“We love our products, as do all the animals we have saved from cosmetic testing.”

Parry’s favourite item in the line is the Luxury Cuticle Oil.

Fellow owner and best friend Jani Schaper, of Atwell, says it has antioxidant properties, repairs damaged skin cells, fights premature aging and contains vitamins A, B and E.

“Perfect for your handbag, it is an essential component of creating, maintaining and moisturising healthy nails and cuticles,” Schaper said.

“Handmade by Christina, this unique mix of 100 per cent organic essential oils both waterproofs and lubricates the skin.”

Best friends Parry and Schaper, along with Schaper’s husband Dane, opened Glamour Nail Bar in Cockburn Central in 2014 and a second Subiaco nail bar in 2016.

It took more than a year to bring their cruelty-free concept to light.

The products are used in both nail spas and are available for purchase in-store and online at clawlicious.com.

The Glamour Nail Bar team will expand its Clawlicious line in 2020.
