The practice had to relocate to West Leederville after the City of Subiaco closed Lords following the discovery of asbestos fibres in the building. Physiotherapist and exercise physiologist Mathew Montgomery said for a small business, something like this had the potential to be crippling.
‘Of course our primary concern is always for the health and wellbeing of our patients but the closure was completely unexpected and a right pain in the neck,’ Mr Montgomery said.
‘With the help from the City of Subiaco we’ve found an exceptional new space.’
The new premises consist of private consulting rooms and a separate Pilates and rehabilitation area.

‘As well as improving our physical space, we’ve updated our online presence too by overhauling our website to include a new online booking system,’ he said.
‘The last few months have certainly seen a few aches and pains here and there, but thanks to the support of the community, our clients and the City of Subiaco, we’ve managed to get back to being fighting fit.’
