High profile Perth lawyer John Hammond has jumped on the cause after his first date with his now fianc Perth socialite Donna Allington at the Men in Black Ball in 2011.

‘I agree that men should talk more and share their stories to help reduce the stigma of ‘men don’t talk, boys don’t cry’ syndrome,’ he said.

For the ball, Zap Bicycles will be donating a number of their electric bicycles for the charity auction.

Zap Bikes was established in 2010 to bring alternative transport to the busy streets of Perth.

The brainchild of Steve Dimov, Paul Rankin and George Tuffin, the vision was of a stylish, sleek vehicle that would be easy to ride, reduce the owner’s carbon footprint and cut the costs of inner city travel.

The ball will be held on Saturday, June 15 during Men’s Health Week 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Perth. Visit momentumwf.com.au to purchase tickets.
