Allied care role for Dr Elliot

The Princess Margaret Hospital occupational therapist and Shenton Park resident will lead a multi-disciplinary team of allied health staff in completing research.

‘My ultimate goal is to improve patient outcomes through this high quality allied health research,’ Dr Elliot said.

‘This position is funded by the PMH Foundation, which relies on financial support from the community, as well as collaborating with Curtin University’s Faculty of Health Sciences. Many people have invested a lot of passion, support and funding to create this role, so I am very excited to get started.’

Dr Elliot said she planned to reinforce already-strong allied health research relationships across the State, nationally and internationally.
