“We have created a platform for designers, models and photographers to reach a broader audience.

“I believe it is also a good development program for the local models to help keep them focused on productive and positive activities.”

With designers including Femia Designs, Villamar Couture, Cizzy Bridal Company, Fearless Activewear, Hunter-Rose and headliner Blushed by Teagan Jacobs, Walter said highlights of the week would include a runway shows at the Kalgoorlie Boulder Airport and Lord Forrest Olympic Pool.

“We are most excited about our ‘Now Boarding’ show,” she said.

“We will transform the passenger terminal from Fifo central to a fashion extravaganza.

“This year we will also start our Act-Belong-Commit Block Party held at the newly opened pool and we will have fashion shows, food trucks, live bands, traditional Aboriginal dancers, market stalls and introduce an exhibition featuring local Indigenous artist Jason Dimer.”
