FORMER ST Hilda’s student-turned-make-up artist Belle James is keeping Perth women looking their best, one make-up brush at a time.

The South Perth resident who recently launched her label Prush – a seven essentials brush pack, said after working as a make-up artist for 10-years finding brushes that were beautiful, high quality and affordable had always a challenge.

With that in mind the 27-year-old set about creating the seven-piece kit featuring a brush for powder, blush, foundation, concealer, eyeshadow, blending and eyeliner which comes in a convenient cosmetic bag.

“All Prush brushes are hand-made with beautifully soft vegan hair, wooden handles and copper ferrules, while the Prush cosmetic bag is made from vegan patent leather.

James said the pack was perfect for everyone from beauty professionals to makeup beginners, covering brush-bases in one pack.

“I felt passionate about creating a line of brushes that would give each individual a chance to create flawless makeup looks without having to be a trained makeup artist,” she said.

“I wanted to create a set of affordable, high-quality brushes that both looked beautiful and were capable of creating a flawless look every time.”

As for the future James said she hoped to release her own make-up line but for now was happy to focus on her brushes.
