THE 55th annual Bindaring Clothing Sale for Red Cross raised $214,000 on Saturday.

Volunteer Jane Morrison, who founded the sale with friends in 1963, was on the mend and clean team in the lead up to last week’s sale and was on hand to encourage the next generation of Bindaring volunteers, including Josie Lynn and Bea Arundell from St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls, on Saturday.

“It is wonderful to see so many young ones coming along and helping with such enthusiasm,” Ms Morrison said.
