Adele Perth concert expected to cause traffic chaos in Subiaco

ADELE’s Domain Stadium concert is expected to cause traffic chaos in Perth tonight, as 65,000 people descend on Subiaco.

The venue’s usual capacity is 43,500, but the seating has been arranged to accommodate more than 20,000 extra fans.

Doors at the venue open at 5.30pm, with the English songstress expected to take to the stage about 7.30pm.

Selected roads around the venue will be closed and Domain said that due to the scale of the event people should arrive at least an hour before Adele hits the stage.

There is no support act.

For a full list of road closures and drop-off points, visit the Domain Stadium website.

Transperth has put on additional bus and train services for the event.

“If you are coming from the CBD, the 28th would be a good day to start and finish work earlier, or stay for dinner in the city,” Transperth spokesman David Hynes said.

“We regret that some regular passengers will be impacted by this, but this really is a one-off event which will be a special night for tens of thousands of fans.”
