Arrests over Scarborough beachfront stabbing

POLICE have made additional arrests over a stabbing in Scarborough in February.

A 28-year-old Baldivis man and 23-year-old Cloverdale man will face court on August 2 over their alleged involvement in the robbery and assault of a man on February 4.

They are charged with aggravated armed robbery and causing bodily harm.

Police believe the victim befriended a group of men while drinking at The Lookout and left the venue with them.

The men then allegedly assaulted the victim and stole his wallet in the skate park area.

He sustained stab wounds to his upper body and repeated kicks to his back and ribs.

Mirrabooka Detectives charged a 22-year-old St James man in relation to the assault in May and made the additional arrests on July 3 and 5.
