KNOWN for her bright kaleidoscopic murals, artist Anya Brock is in her element for the 'world of colour' themed Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Ball this Saturday.
The Perth-born artist is creating a bespoke artwork to auction at the 21st anniversary event, with funds raised going to support children and their families staying at RMH in Subiaco.
‘I’ve always wanted to do something for RMH because I really want to give to a children’s charity,’ Ms Brock said.
‘The thing people say most about my work is it makes them feel happy.
‘If I can help people in a bad situation by giving art and making them happy, that’s my way of giving back.’
The artwork will be among many exclusive items and experiences on auction, including tickets to the 2015 Grammy Awards and official after-party, a five-night stay in Nairobi and a virtual key raffle of a Mercedes Benz A-250 Sport valued at $65,461.
