Ms Calgaret and fellow artist Noeleen Hamlett helped Perth Modern School Year 12 students paint a Naidoc Week-inspired canvas mural at a City of Subiaco workshop yesterday.

Subiaco Mayor Heather Henderson said community artworks would be displayed at the many events the City had planned for Naidoc Week from July 6 to 13.

‘I encourage everyone to come along, see the artworks, and join us in recognising the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community,’ she said.
