Blast of summer over as cool change hits Perth

Staff WriterWestern Suburbs Weekly

AFTER sweating it out over the weekend in sweltering conditions, Perth was hit by a reprieve today.

It was an uncomfortable weekend, with a top of 39.1 degrees on Saturday and 41.8 on Sunday.

But it was a far more comfortable start to the working week, with the mercury reaching 29 degrees at 2.30pm today.

And the temperatures will continue to fall over the next couple of days, with a late shower tipped for tomorrow and a top of 26 degrees.
