Builder starts work on luxury Scarborough apartments

PERTH builder Pyramid Construction has been tasked with building luxury Scarborough apartments The Beach Shack.

Developer Norup + Wilson recently announced it had secured relevant environmental and building licence approvals for the 99-apartment complex on West Coast Highway, north of the Reserve Street carpark.

Pyramid Construction has now started work on the $107 million project, which the developer said boasts beachfront access.

Director Dave Wilson said it would comprise two 10-storey buildings with features including outdoor showers, kayak storage area, higher car parking height limits to accommodate roof racks and electric vehicle chargers for each bay.

The penthouse will offer a 180 degree view of the coastline.
